Where are my files actually stored?

Your files are stored in your own Google Drive, inside a folder called Enoch Workspace that the app creates during onboarding the first time you sign in. Within Enoch Workspace, everything you upload, email in, forward, import, or scan is organized into subfolders that mirror your cabinets and drawers — all in your Drive, under your Google account, protected by the same Google infrastructure that runs Gmail and every other Google service.

Enoch File is a specialized window into that folder — it’s what makes your files easy to organize, tag, preview, search, and share — but the files themselves live in your Drive, not on Enoch Worx systems. We don’t own servers, and we never keep copies of your files on our end.

You own and control your data. Because your files live in your Google Drive rather than in a proprietary Enoch File storage system, they aren’t locked to us. If you ever stop using Enoch File — for any reason — your files stay right where they are in Drive, in the folders you’ve been using them in. You can open them, share them, download them, or work with them however you like, with or without Enoch File in the picture.
