How to Cancel Your Subscription

Cancelling your Enoch File Premium subscription takes about a minute. Before you do, it’s worth reading What Happens to My Files If I Cancel? — your files stay in your Google Drive regardless, but there are some things about the transition to the Free tier that are useful to know in advance.

How to cancel

Head to your My Account page at enochworx.com/admin. Scroll to the Billing & Payments section and click Manage Billing. That opens the Paddle billing portal in a new window — the same portal you’d use to update your card or change plans.

In the Paddle portal, look for the option to Cancel Subscription. Confirm the cancellation when prompted. Paddle sends you a confirmation email once the cancellation is processed.

That’s the whole process on your end. There’s no additional confirmation to run through on the Enoch File side — Paddle notifies us of the cancellation automatically.

The 14-day refund window

If you cancel within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase, you’re eligible for a full refund. After the 14-day window closes, all sales are final and we don’t offer prorated refunds. This applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions.

What happens after you cancel

Your Premium features stay active through the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. If you’re two weeks into a monthly subscription, you have two weeks of Premium left. If you’re partway through an annual, you have the rest of the year. Cancelling now just means the subscription won’t renew — it doesn’t shut anything down immediately.

If you’d rather just let it expire

You don’t have to actively cancel to end your subscription — you can also let it lapse by removing or letting your payment method expire. Paddle will attempt to charge on your renewal date and, if the charge doesn’t go through, your subscription will end at the end of the current period the same way an active cancellation does. That said, actively cancelling in the Paddle portal is cleaner: you get a confirmation email, you don’t get any “payment failed” notices, and you know exactly when your access changes over.

After you’ve been on Free for a while

If you switch to Free and then don’t sign in for more than six months, we reserve the right to remove your Enoch File account as part of routine cleanup. Your Google Drive files aren’t affected — they’re in your Drive regardless — but the Enoch File account itself would be gone, and you’d need to resubscribe as a new user to sign in again.
