How to Upgrade from Monthly to Annual

Switching from a monthly to an annual Enoch File Premium subscription saves you about 37 percent over the course of the year. The switch takes about a minute, and Paddle prorates the change so you don’t lose the days remaining on your current month. This article walks through where to make the switch, what to expect at checkout, and how the proration works.

The switch happens on your My Account page at enochworx.com/admin. It lives on the main Enoch Worx website — not inside the Enoch File app itself — though the Manage Account item in your Enoch File Utility Menu takes you to the same place.

Once you’re there, you’ll see a Switch to Annual & Save section near the top of the page. It only appears for Monthly subscribers, so if you’re on the Free plan or already on Annual you won’t see it.

The Switch to Annual & Save section on the Enoch Worx My Account page, with a “Save 37% by switching from monthly to annual billing” heading and a Switch to Annual button. The Billing & Payments section sits directly below it with a Manage Billing button.

Click Switch to Annual. A Confirm Upgrade window opens where you can review the change, apply a promo code if you have one, and authorize the prorated charge.

The Confirm Upgrade window in Enoch File, with an authorization line stating Paddle will bill the card on file for the selected plan, an optional Promo Code field, and Cancel and Confirm & Pay buttons.

The charge goes to the card you have on file with Paddle from your original signup. If you need to update your card first, close this window and click Manage Billing in the Billing & Payments section directly below to open a Paddle-hosted portal where you can change your payment method. Come back and click Switch to Annual again once your card is current.

When your card is set and you’ve entered any promo code in the Promo Code (Optional) field, click Confirm & Pay. Enoch File sends the request to Paddle in the background, and Paddle bills your card the prorated amount.

If you have days left on your current monthly subscription, Paddle won’t charge you the full annual price outright. Instead, Paddle credits the unused portion of your current month against the annual charge, so the amount you pay today is slightly less than the full annual rate. The credit is small — a partial month — but it means you’re not paying twice for time you’ve already covered.

Your first annual renewal happens one year from the date of this switch, not from the end of your original monthly cycle. From this point forward, you’re on the annual billing schedule.

Once the charge goes through, your My Account page updates to reflect your new Annual status and shows you a success message with the exact amount charged, any applicable tax, and the last four digits of the card that was billed. Your Premium features continue uninterrupted — you already had them as a Monthly subscriber, and switching to Annual doesn’t change what you can do, only when you’re next billed.

Paddle handles the payment on our behalf as our Merchant of Record. Your card details live with Paddle, not with Enoch File — the last four digits are all we ever see, and nothing is stored on our side. Paddle emails you a receipt for the charge, and any time you need to pull up an invoice, view your billing history, update your payment method, or change plans, return to My Account and click Manage Billing. That opens a Paddle-hosted portal with everything you need.

If the switch doesn’t seem to have taken

Very occasionally the charge confirms but the page takes a beat to catch up. If the Switch to Annual & Save section is still showing a minute or two after Confirm & Pay, log out and log back in — that always resets your account status. If it’s still there after that, check your email — if the Paddle receipt arrived, the charge went through, and a quick note to Support will get things reconciled.
