Why can't I email this video to Enoch File?

Videos are the file type most likely to hit an email attachment size limit — but they’re not the only culprit. Every mail system sets its own ceiling on attachment size, and a handful of file types routinely land above them: videos most of all, but also high-resolution photos, multi-page or high-DPI scans, CAD drawings, 3D-printing files, and large design files exported from tools like Photoshop or Illustrator.

If a file won’t send to Enoch File as an attachment, skip email entirely and upload it directly instead.

From your computer

Navigate to the drawer or folder where you want the video, then click Add or Drag Files and select the video from your hard drive. You can also drag the file straight from a Finder or File Explorer window onto the drawer or folder — same result, no dialog.

From your phone

If you have the Enoch File: Scan & Save mobile app installed, it’s the smoothest path: open the app, choose the destination drawer or folder, and use the upload option to pick a video from your camera roll.

If you’re not using the app, open Enoch File in your mobile browser, navigate to the drawer or folder you want, tap Add, and select the video from your camera roll.

Either way, we recommend uploading on Wi-Fi — video files can chew through mobile data quickly.
