Can I use Enoch File on my phone or tablet?

Browser support:

Enoch File works in any modern mobile browser — including Safari on iPhone and iPad, and Chrome on Android. There’s nothing to install; just go to enochfile.com and log in, just like you would on a desktop or laptop.

On a phone:

The sidebar (which shows your folder tree on a larger screen) is hidden by default on phones to give you more room. Tap the » chevron to open it when you need to navigate between folders.

Some action icons that appear on hover on desktop are always visible on mobile, since many touch-screen devices don’t have hover. The core experience — uploading, previewing, moving, searching, emailing — works the same way across all devices.

Due to limited screen sizes or operating differences, some functions may look or behave differently on phones. Others may be hidden until you open the sidebar. Some icons may be crammed together or even overlap. Adjust the image size or turn your phone horizontal to resolve most of these issues.

On a tablet or iPad:

Enoch File works just like it does on a desktop. The screen is large enough that the sidebar stays visible, and all features are fully accessible. Depending on the size of your screen, you may find it easier to work in horizontal (landscape) mode than vertically.

Uploading files from your phone or tablet:

Tap the + Add button to open your device’s file picker. From there you can select photos from your camera roll, files from your Downloads folder, or documents from other apps. You can select multiple files at once.

Note that you cannot take photos directly from your device’s camera into the Enoch File web app at this time — take the photo first, then upload it from your camera roll. If you want to capture documents or receipts directly with your camera, the Enoch File: Scan & Save mobile app is designed for exactly that.

Tips for mobile use:

• Add enochfile.com to your home screen for quick access. On Safari, tap the share icon and select Add to Home Screen. On Chrome, tap the three-dot menu and select Add to Home screen.
• If you’re on a slow cellular connection, large uploads may take longer. Uploading over Wi-Fi is recommended for batches of files, large documents, or to save on data charges.
• The file previewer works well on mobile for PDFs and images. For very large documents, you may want to download and open them in a dedicated app.
