When to use Reindex and Clean Up

Reindex and Clean Up scours your cabinets, looking for files that aren't saved in a folder or drawer, and places them in your Unfiled Drawer so you can put them where you want them. It also reindexes files to optimize sorting and searching.

Run Reindex and Clean Up from the Utility Menu if:

• Searching seems to take a long time
• You left the app by mistake while it was importing documents or your device crashed or ran out of power in the middle of an operation
• You mailed or forwarded files to your Enoch email address and they didn't show up

This function works in the background, so you can continue to use Enoch File while it's running. A report will pop up on your screen when the process is complete.

While this is available to Free users, the Premium version does a more thorough job of optimizing files for search.
