Sharing files outside of Enoch File
The easiest way to share a file with someone is to email it to them. But when you send someone a file, you can't get it back. They might send it to someone else. If you are worried about personal or private information in a file that you need to share with someone else, consider using the Enoch File sharing function, represented by the telescope icon - ðŸ”.
To share a document, you must enter their email address. They will then receive an automated email stating that you are sharing a file with them, They can then open and view the file from your Google Drive. They cannot edit it, move it, or delete it. Only view it.

Once you grant someone permission to view that file, they will be able to do so until you revoke that permission or delete the file. Even archiving it will not revoke permission.
When you share a file, it gets a small, red "Shared" not on it next to the tags.

By clicking on the 🔠icon or on the red shared, you can see who the file has been shared with, and you can revoke their access by clicking on the x next to their name and the word "Viewer"

Note that sharing is not available via the bulk menu.
