Searching Enoch File - two different ways

We have Quick Search for fast, targeted answers and Global Search for thorough, cross-cabinet results. For example, if you have more than 10,000 documents, it can be tough to narrow down your search. By letting you search a specific drawer or folder, your odds of finding the exact document you need improve.

If you know a document is in a specific folder but don't want to scan through all 129 files in that folder, type a tag or word from the title into the search box above the file list. That narrows the list as you type.

Below is the Quick Search Bar, which searches only the files below it:

But if you have no idea where you filed the receipt for the PlayStation you purchased two years ago, you can search in the cabinet where you think it is or search cabinet or all your cabinets at once. The narrower your search, the faster it will go and the more specific your results will be.

To search for a specific phrase, put it in quotes. Searching for beef stew will find documents with both and often either word. Searching for "beef stew" using quotation marks will find only documents that have that exact phrase.

The powerful Global search, seen below, is accessed via the magnifying glass icon in the upper right of your screen. As you can see below, you can search the cabinet you are in or all cabinets. You can also search by tag.

You can also search your archives, but archived documents won't turn up in a normal search. To search archived documents, you must be in the archive, which is accessible through the utility menu.
