If the app is slow or unresponsive

A slow or unresponsive app is often related to a poor internet connection, especially if you are uploading or importing data or working on a cellular network that is not 5G. Before you do anything else, check that your router is working and run a speed test to ensure you have a good connection. You can also check Down Detector to make sure your ISP or Google are not experiencing problems. If Google is, then it will affect Enoch File because we are built on top of their infrastructure,

If that isn't the problem, try these five steps in this order:

  1. Press Ctrl+F5 (Cmd+F5 on Mac) to hard-refresh and clear your cache.
  2. Log off or exit and log back on. If you are nor required to log back in with your Google credentials, then close the browser tab or the browser, restart it and log back in.
  3. If you have a very large number of files, give the app a moment to load. Premium users can run Reindex & Clean Up to optimize performance.
  4. Try a different browser. Chrome and Safari are recommended.
  5. Check if browser extensions, your VPN, privacy extensions or other security software are interfering. Sometimes they update and can cause problems with applications like Enoch File. Make sure they are not blocking third-party cookies. We recommend you whitelist both enochfile.com and enochworx.com in your security software or disable the extensions for that domain.
