What file types can I store in Enoch File?
You can store virtually any type of file in Enoch File. If it's a file, you can upload it. Your documents are stored in your own Google Drive, which supports all standard file types.
Common file types people store:
- Documents: PDF, Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), PowerPoint (.pptx), Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, plain text files, HTML files
- Images: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, SVG, BMP, TIFF
- Videos: MP4, WebM, MOV, OGG
- Audio: MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A
- Other: ZIP archives, ENEX files (for Evernote import), and anything else you'd store on a hard drive
Which files can be previewed?
Not every file type can be previewed inside Enoch File, but many can. See our article "The power of preview" for a detailed breakdown of what previews and what doesn't.
Files that can't be previewed can still be stored, organized, tagged, searched, moved, shared, emailed, and downloaded — they just won't show a visual preview when you click on them.
File size:
There is no file size limit imposed by Enoch File itself. Your limit is your available Google Drive storage space. If your Drive runs out of space, Enoch File will let you know and suggest upgrading your Google storage through Google One.
Our upload and download systems are designed to so even large video files upload or download reliably. Note: we didn't say fast. Speed depends on your connection and most internet services prioritize downloads, making them faster than uploads.
Email forwarding limits:
If you're sending files to Enoch File via email forwarding, the standard email size limits apply — most mail servers cap attachments at around 20 or 25 MB. For larger files, upload them directly through the app.
